You can find the RTSP link on the manufacturer’s website of your camera or request it from our technical support.
Typically, a few standard parameters are changed in the example link:

A static IP address is a permanent unique address assigned to a device in the internet. Example - 78.78.78.78.

It is required for remote access to devices such as IP cameras or recorders. You can obtain it from your ISP.

A real dynamic IP address is a unique IP address assigned to a device by the ISP, which can change with each new internet connection.

For working with dynamic IP addresses, there are several services that provide stable connections despite IP address changes.

For example, No-IP, DynDNS, or DuckDNS allow linking a domain name to your IP address. This name can be used in your RTSP link.

The only solution is to use our Line 5Mp bullet or Line Bridge devices.

Port mapping (port forwarding) is a router configuration that directs requests from the internet to a specific device in your local network.

This is necessary to access the video stream from your IP camera. Typically, IP cameras use port 554 for RTSP streaming.
Administrator access to the router is required.

If your camera's local IP address is 192.168.1.100, port mapping will direct requests from the external IP address to this camera. Example rule:

• •Codec − H.264;
• •FPS – 25;
• •GOP (i-frame) − 50 fps (2 sec);
• •SMART codec - off

Local IP addresses (so-called "private IPs") belong to ranges that are not routable on the global network. These ranges are defined by RFC 1918: • 10.0.0.0 – 10.255.255.255 • 172.16.0.0 – 172.31.255.255 • 192.168.0.0 – 192.168.255.255

• • 172.16.0.0 – 172.31.255.255
• • 192.168.0.0 – 192.168.255.255

Devices with such addresses are only accessible within a local network (e.g., home or office). External devices from the internet cannot directly connect to these IP addresses.

Simply connect the IP camera to the internet, and the stream is ready. No need for a static IP address or port mapping. Infrared illumination ensures excellent image quality at night, and POE support allows the use of existing network infrastructure.
